Guys. I know what this is like. When I was 45 pounds heavier, I tried every diet on the planet. I joined a gym. I walked 5 miles a day. I ate low carb high fat, high carb low fat, high protein no fat, vegan, vegetarian, pescatarian. It wasn’t until I came across the research on how hormones and neurotransmitters affect weight loss that I realized that I had it all wrong. I had been focused on the very thing that was killing my metabolism, stressing my body and working against me and not for me. Once I recognized that the calories in and calories out method is NOT what causes weight loss as much as promoting fat burning hormones and calming bat building hormones, that the weight started to come off. I started to workout LESS and eat MORE and the weight continued to come off. Now I’m over 40 and in the best shape of my life. I’m fitter, stronger, more flexible, and leaner than I have ever been in my life. In fact, to bust the genetics theory, I am actually leaner than I was in junior high and high school. So despite what I thought my body was destined to look like, I broke through that barrier.
